A full rental and laundering service, including measuring customer employees, sourcing, bar coding and tracking garments, including providing and filling lockers on customer sites where appropriate. Products include:

• Garments for the food manufacturing industry
• Bespoke garments for larger customers
• Dust control mats

Sunlight also provides washroom services, notably cabinet roller towels, to both these sectors.

Healthcare:

Sunlight is the leading provider of laundry and linen management services to the NHS and to the private healthcare sector. The service includes provision via rental of a wide range of textile items including bed linen, patient gowns, scrub suits, stretcher covers, blankets etc. These are laundered and typically distributed daily to wards and delivery points within the hospital by an on-site team of Sunlight staff.

Using dedicated and sophisticated plants, Sunlight also provides sterile operating theatre procedure packs, containing sterile surgical drapes and gowns for surgeons and theatre staff. These are hi-tech textiles designed to protect patients and medical staff, which are then re-processed, folded, packed and sterilised by Sunlight for re-use. They are the typically distributed to operating theatres by Sunlight staff as above.

Sunlight operates a divisional structure to manage its network of circa 45 plants, employing over 7,000 people.
